Job Requirements
  • Act as technical lead on Test engineering function.
  • Should have experience in running both automation and manual testing efforts
  • Develop and document Test assurance standards for software testing, aligned with industry best practices. This includes models for building software test plans and test scripts.
  • Define the Test engineering aspects of the software development process in order to ensure the creation of highest quality software products.
  • Oversee QA and test plans for software development projects to ensure highest quality possible outcome.
  • Ensure proper tracking, oversight, and communication of QA efforts on each project.
  • Implement best practices, tools & Test strategy for:
    • Regression testing
    • Automation Testing
    • Test cases
    • Reporting
    • Requirements traceability
  • In addition to leading our QA efforts, the incumbent must also be a hands on including:
    • Lead quality assurance process from test design to final reports.
    • Create and implement tests, test cases, and design specifications.
    • Guide and participate in bug testing, identification, and problem solving.
    • Find bugs, defects, and regressions.
    • Verify fixes.
    • Analyze test results and communicate with other teams to resolve software defects.
    • Communicate test results and ongoing needs to management.
 
Desired Qualifications
  • B.S. in computer science, information systems, or an engineering discipline required. M.S. in a related filed is preferred.
  • Three+ years of Software Lead Test experience, preferably in large scale environments with many different technologies, supporting multiple business lines.
  • Broad knowledge of technology quality assurance processes: system testing, software testing, regression testing, and quality control.
  • Previous experience as a hands-on tester/QA professional.
  • A strong working knowledge and experience with QA best practices and standards, including : Standard for Software Quality Assurance Processes, Software Testing.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate comfortable to executive management.
  • Strong analytical skills, follow-up capability, and problem-solving ability
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to present ideas and cost effective solutions to reduce test cycle costs.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and Indepedent.
