Role: JIRA Administrator
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ months
Looking for someone with 2+ years’ experience of Jira specific admin.
Roles & Responsibilities
Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries.
Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls.
Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Note: May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
Must have hands-on experience with the following:
Modifying Jira projects by creating custom fields, workflow schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes.
Creating custom dashboards and reports using advanced JQL (Jira Query Language).
Configuring agile boards (scrum and kanban) with complex queries and troubleshooting issues.
Managing and using Jira add-ons (system, free and paid) - preferably eazyBI and ScriptRunner
Integrating Jira with other apps, both Atlassian (Confluence, Bitbucket,Trello) and third party (i.e. Zendesk, Aha!, Slack)
